When a tooth is badly damaged or missing, prosthetics restores not just the appearance but also proper chewing and speech. The right solution depends on the condition of your teeth, the neighbouring teeth and your budget.

At the clinic we work with modern materials and technology - from proven metal-ceramic to digitally milled zirconia and all-ceramic restorations. At the consultation we will talk through every option openly.

Crowns and bridges

A crown covers and protects a badly damaged tooth, while a bridge replaces a missing tooth by resting on the neighbouring ones. We offer several types of restorations:

  • Metal-ceramic crowns - proven strength at an accessible price
  • Full-contour CAD-CAM zirconia crowns - digitally milled from a solid block of zirconia, exceptionally strong and completely metal-free
  • All-ceramic E.Max crowns - the most natural look, the first choice for front teeth

Removable dentures - flexible and thermoplastic

When more teeth are missing, modern removable dentures are far more comfortable than the ones previous generations knew. We work with two materials:

  • Valplast - a soft, flexible denture with no metal clasps; it fits snugly, stays stable while speaking and eating, and is hypoallergenic - suitable even for those allergic to acrylate or metal
  • Vertex Thermosens - a thermoplastic denture with high stability; odour-free, colour-stable and keeps its appearance over time

Repairs and denture care

Even flexible dentures can be repaired when needed - a crack or a loose fit does not necessarily mean a new denture. Bring it in, and in most cases we will have it back in shape quickly. You will also receive clear instructions on cleaning and storing it so it serves you for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Does getting a crown hurt?

No. The tooth is prepared under local anaesthetic and the procedure is virtually painless, and while the permanent crown is being made the tooth is protected with a temporary one. The final cementing is a short, gentle step.

Which crown should I choose?

For front teeth, all-ceramic E.Max crowns look the most natural. For chewing teeth, CAD-CAM zirconia crowns combine strength with good aesthetics, while metal-ceramic is the proven budget option. We will advise you for the specific tooth.

Will people notice I wear a removable denture?

Modern flexible dentures are designed with exactly that in mind. Valplast has no metal clasps, and its flexible gum-coloured base fits snugly - the denture stays stable while you speak and eat, and is practically unnoticeable to others.

How much do prosthetics cost?

The price depends on the type of restoration and the number of teeth. You will find the full list - crowns by type and removable dentures - in our price list; bridges are quoted per unit, and you get an exact plan after an examination.
