Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front surface of a tooth to correct its colour, shape and small irregularities. Porcelain veneers are just 0.3–0.7 mm thick.
That is exactly why they are far more conservative than crowns - only a minimal layer of enamel is removed, and the tooth stays alive and healthy underneath.
We craft them from E.Max pressed ceramic - a material with natural translucency and high strength that is hard to tell apart from a real tooth.
How the treatment works
The road to your new smile follows five clear steps - so you know what to expect at every visit:
- Consultation and impressions - we discuss your wishes and take impressions of your teeth
- Wax-up - you preview your future smile on a wax model before we touch a single tooth
- Gentle preparation - we remove only 0.3–0.7 mm of the surface, under anaesthetic and virtually pain-free
- Temporary veneers - they protect your teeth and give you a feel for the final result
- Fitting - about a week later we bond the finished porcelain veneers in place
Why E.Max pressed ceramic
E.Max pressed ceramic combines strength with natural translucency - the veneer catches the light just like real enamel. Its colour stays stable over time and does not stain from coffee, tea or red wine.
Direct composite veneers - the affordable alternative
If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, direct composite veneers are built from composite material straight onto the tooth - usually in a single visit, with minimal or no preparation. They are an excellent choice for smaller corrections, and at the consultation we will tell you honestly which option suits your case better.
